Ben Everitt MP and Cllr Chris Wardle fought against Labour's plans for MK East

I campaigned hard against the Labour-Lib Dem Council's plans for the MK East expansion and will continue to support our rural communities against their latest reckless over-expansion plans of 63,000 extra homes for Milton Keynes and the rural areas.

These plans include the potential for a 'new settlement' near Haversham, Castlethorpe and Hanslope of up to new 12,000 houses. That would completely concrete over our beautiful villages and countryside.

Housing must always be appropriate, affordable, sustainable and proportionate.
