Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, arranged a meeting with Iain Stewart, the MP for Milton Keynes South, and Marc Tarbit, the Local Police Area Commander for Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes, to discuss the issue of knife crime locally.
They spoke about the impact these crimes have on the local community, extra police officers being brought in from elsewhere in the Thames Valley Police force area, and the use of Section 60s.
Ben Everitt MP said: "Knife crime is absolutely abhorrent and my heart goes out to the family and friends of those who have sadly lost their lives to it in Milton Keynes.
"I am determined to stamp it out and people who are carrying a knife should expect to end up behind bars."
