Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, paid a visit to a teacher training session by the Tommy Flowers SCITT after they were regraded as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED in their latest report.
The Tommy Flowers SCITT works with 40 local primary and secondary schools to deliver teacher training across the 5-11 and 11-16 age ranges and Ben was keen to see one of the sessions in action so headed down to St Paul's Catholic School in Milton Keynes.
Their latest OFSTED report described their teacher training courses as “first-class”, “second to none” with an “unfaltering commitment to provide Milton Keynes with exceptional teachers.”
They will soon be launching a Post Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship alongside their PGCE courses, with applications to start training in September 2024 open on 10th October.
