Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, joined 11-year-old Jude on his 200 mile walk from Yorkshire to Westminster to raise awareness about climate change and his idea for a carbon tax.
Jude's walk started from his home in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire and was joined by local MP Ben for a couple of miles on the stretch of his walk from Olney Marketplace.
He has met a number of MPs along the route including Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove and has been walking around 10 miles each day, while Olney Councillor Keith McLean also spoke to Jude.
Ben Everitt MP said: "I think it's so important we listen to what young people are saying and hear what their ideas are and it was absolutely fascinating to join Jude on his walk and listen to his passionate and well researched opinions.
"This Conservative Government is committed to reaching Net Zero by 2050 and I'm really pleased Jude walked through my constituency of Milton Keynes North as we are leading the way in going green by having more electric car rapid charging points than any other city in the UK."
