Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, spoke at the launch of Johnny Luk's campaign for the new Milton Keynes Central constituency which included special guest Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.
The Foreign Secretary joined the launch at MK:U's Bouverie House site in CMK and spoke glowingly about Johnny's passion and dedication to his community following his selection as the Conservative Party's Prospective Parliamentary candidate in Milton Keynes Central.
Boundary Commission proposals will see the new central seat take a number of ward's from Ben's Milton Keynes North constituency, including Broughton and Monkston, while MK North would gain Stony Stratford from the current Milton Keynes South constituency which will become Buckingham and Bletchley, also losing some wards to the central seat.
Milton Keynes South MP Iain Stewart also spoke at Johnny's launch event and South West Hertfordshire MP Gagan Mohindra was in attendance. A number of local Conservative councillors also joined the packed out event including Deputy Group Leader Cllr Liam Andrews (Newport Pagnell North and Hanslope), Cllr Chris Wardle (Newport Pagnell North and Hanslope), Cllr Manish Verma (Tattenhoe), Cllr Chris Taylor (Shenley Brook End), Cllr Peter Geary (Olney) and Cllr Keith McLean (Olney).
