Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has met with YiS Young People's Mental Health who do work across Milton Keynes to support young people suffering from mental health issues.
Ben has been vocal on the issue of mental health and has recently appeared on GB News to discuss it, and penned a column on mental health for MKFM during the coronavirus lockdown in 2020.
Mental health was one of the big issues raised to Ben by the Milton Keynes Youth Cabinet and is something which he mentioned in the House Of Commons recently.
Ben joined the YiS team at their Milton Keynes College base to hear about the work they do to support young people with their mental health - both in counselling and preventative work.
