Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has met with Skills Minister Robert Halfon to discuss MK:U, degree apprenticeships and his ambition for Milton Keynes to become the Silicon Valley of Europe.
Ben is a huge champion of local, innovative businesses here in Milton Keynes and has met with businesses across the city from ABB to API Microwave, all of who really help put MK at the heart of innovation and technology in the UK.
He has also been supporting the campaign to build a fully-fledged on-site university in Milton Keynes since the day he was elected and used the opportunity with Minister Halfon to again stress the importance MK:U could have on not just boosting MK's local economy, but also the national economy.
