Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has met with Stagecoach to emphasise his disappointment at their decision to cut the number 41 service.
The 41 route services both Olney and Lavendon but will now just run a couple of services a day in either direction which will impact commuters and school students.
A number of constituents have been in touch with Ben about the decision as it affects travel to Northampton College so Ben wrote to Stagecoach. Ben then visited Stagecoach East's HQ in Cambridge on Friday (07th October) to discuss in person.
Ben shared his concerns that services must be provided to ensure students can get to their place of education and raised the importance of refunding annual passes if the services can not be saved.
