Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has met with Starship Technologies to discuss the success of their delivery robots in Milton Keynes.
If you live in, or have even visited, Milton Keynes it will have been almost impossible to have not seen one of Starship's robots roaming the streets delivering groceries.
The autonomous delivery robots have been embraced by the local community and has been such a success that Starship are now actively looking to expand across the UK.
Ben, and Iain Stewart, the MP for Milton Keynes South, met with Starship Technologies' UK Director of Government Affairs Lisa Johnson in Parliament on Wednesday (27/04).
Ben Everitt MP said: "The introduction of Starship robots into Milton Keynes has been absolutely fantastic and you always have to smile when you see one going by - I particularly enjoyed the stories about children trying to feed them!
"So I was really pleased to meet with Starship Technologies and discuss the success of the rollout and what they have planned for the future."
