Sixth form students at Oakgrove School were given the opportunity to quiz Milton Keynes North MP Ben Everitt in a Q&A session on Friday afternoon (15/12).
The local MP is always keen to engage with local schools and answer questions on national and local issues to provide students with an insight into the role of a Member of Parliament and the workings of the House of Commons.
Ben fielded questions on the new constituency boundaries, the war between Israel and Hamas, the housing market and his proudest achievements as an MP so far. He also met with the school's headteacher Ian Tett to offer his support on any issues.
Ben Everitt MP said: "I absolutely love getting to meet students in MK and answering their questions as I know they genuinely want to know the answers.
"It's fantastic that schools like Oakgrove are so keen to help their students engage with politicians to help them gain a better understanding of politics and it is clear to see Milton Keynes has a very bright future."
