Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, attended the Milton Keynes Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Group open day in Stacey Bushes on Friday (24/09).
The centre provides a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber to support people with Multiple Sclerosis and other conditions such as ME, Cerebral Palsy and some cancers get relief from pain.
They also offer therapies such as massage, and believe their centre could be useful in helping those suffering from long COVID.
Ben met with Patron Dr Vasco Fernandes, Trustee Lionel Sutton, Centre Manager Sharn Nandhra and members of the public who benefit from the service - and was joined by Milton Keynes Mayor Cllr Mohammed Khan and MK Community Foundation CEO Ian Revell.
The charity has members from across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas and other than the part-time centre manager and therapists all other workers are volunteers.
Ben Everitt MP commented: "It was absolutely fascinating to visit the Milton Keynes Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Group and meet some of their amazing, dedicated team.
"It was wonderful to hear from some of their members who are currently benefiting or have previously benefited from treatment at the centre."
