Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has visited family-run Moores Fish and Chips in Monkston Park to show his support as the industry faces a tough time due to Russia's war on Ukraine.
The war has a huge effect on the price of white fish and cooking oil which is raising costs for fish and chip shops in the current global cost of living crisis.
Local MP Ben has been keen to get out and listen to concerns of fish and chips shops across his Milton Keynes North constituency and offer support by highlighting them to constituents.
Moores also have shops in Oxley Park, Newton Leys and Ashland.
