Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has welcomed the news the Conservative Government is investing in a new degree apprenticeship at MK:U.
Local MP Ben has been a huge champion of the MK:U project and recently invited Universities Minister Robert Halfon to their Bouverie House base to meet some of the students taking degree apprenticeships.
And MK:U has now secured £100,000 of funding from the Office for Students to develop a new degree apprenticeship in Supply Chain Management.
Ben Everitt MP said: "Milton Keynes has become a real hub for many logistics business operations from all across the country so it's fantastic news that the Government is investing in a degree apprenticeship at our very own MK:U.
"This new degree apprenticeship will open up vital opportunities locally and help us deliver on one of the key issues businesses keep telling me about. Skills, skills, skills."
