Well-loved venues in Milton Keynes North such as The Craufurd Arms and MK Gallery are receiving a share of £377,153 from the Culture Recovery Fund.
The Craufurd Arms, in Wolverton, has been awarded £50,548 to help with its recovery from the coronavirus pandemic which has seen its doors closed for the best part of a year.
Milton Keynes Museum, Milton Keynes Arts Centre, MOTUS, RGS Music, SNP Productions and MK Galley were all also provided with funding from the latest round of the Culture Recovery Fund.
Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, said: “I’m delighted more of our fantastic local venues and cultural businesses have been provided with vital support which will help them recover as we begin the roadmap back to normality.
“I paid a visit to MK Museum last year before the pandemic hit and can’t wait to visit even more venues in Milton Keynes once restrictions have eased.”
