Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has supported #BackBritishFarming Day after visiting numerous farms across his constituency in recent months since restrictions have been eased.
Ben has paid visits to Yew Tree Farm in Tathall End, Home Farm in Cold Brayfield and Lodge Farm in Castlethorpe seeing the incredible work British farmers do to maintain high animal welfare and production standards.
At Home Farm he was shown the anaerobic digester which is feeding locally generated power into the grid, and has also tried his hand at sheep sheering at Yew Tree Farm.
Ben commented: "I'm absolutely delighted to be getting involved with #BackBritishFarming Day and highlighting the amazing work British farmers do here in Milton Keynes North and across the entire country.
"Britain has incredibly high standards and it's all down to our farmers that we continue to maintain them.
"Our farmers are food producers, environmentalists, scientists and power generators - they are vital to our way of life."
