Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has visited Hazard Alley to hear all about the fantastic work they do teaching the importance of safety to young people across Milton Keynes and to neighbouring counties.
The Safety Centre charity does important work both visiting schools and inviting them down to Hazard Alley for sessions to show children, as well as adults, how they can stay safe, understand risks and avoid accidents.
As well as Milton Keynes this also includes supporting schools in both Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Ben was shown around their latest knife crime prevention zone which is set as a food outlet and gets children involved interactively with quiz questions to understand the dangers of knives and how to react in situations.
Ben Everitt MP said: "Hazard Alley, and the wider Safety Centre charity, do phenomenal working teaching our young people about safety and risks and I know so many people across Milton Keynes have benefited from visiting Hazard Alley and their experiences still stick with them to this day.
"I was delighted to be able to visit and talk about the support they need to continue doing what they're doing, as well as discussing their work helping to prevent knife crime in Milton Keynes."
