With Bonfire Night fast approaching I tend to get a number of emails from constituents about the use of fireworks across Milton Keynes and our rural areas.

I know many people love attending firework displays and the joys they can bring, but also understand concerns from people, including pet owners, about their negative impact.

I'm launching this survey on fireworks to understand more about your views.

Are you planning on attending a firework display locally this year?
What is the earliest/latest you think fireworks should be used around Bonfire Night?
Do you think fireworks should be banned from being set off other than on certain days of the year such as Bonfire Night, New Year, Diwali and other religious events?
Are you a pet owner?
Does the use of fireworks affect your pet(s)?
Do you support a ban on fireworks, other than professionally organised events?
Do you support a complete ban on fireworks, regardless of whether they are professionally organised events?
Have you had an issue with antisocial use of fireworks in your local area?
