Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has taken part in the The Industry and Parliament Trust bike ride to raise money and awareness for the Poppy Appeal.
Each year hundreds of MPs and Peers take part of the event in the Houses of Parliament, in association with the Royal British Legion, as Remembrance Day approaches.
During the 10-hour static bike ride, each person will cycle as far as they can on an exercise bike in 5 minutes and trying to beat their colleagues to top the leader board.
Ben was briefly at the top of the leader board after cycling 2.89km in his 5 minutes.
He tweeted: "Only a brief stint at the top of the leaderboard. @AlanBrownSNP turns out to be Chris Hoy in disguise...."
