Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, is delighted after the Conservative Government completed its rollout of defibrillators to every state school in Milton Keynes.
Last year, the Government committed to ensuring there is a defibrillator on the school grounds of every school across the country and since January more than 20,000 have been delivered to almost 18,000 schools.
Having access to defibrillators in schools drastically increases the chance of pupils, teachers and visitors surviving a cardiac arrest and all eligible primary, special and alternative provision schools who did not already have a defibrillator have received one.
Ben Everitt MP said: "I'm delighted the Conservative Government has succeeded in its goal of ensuring every state school has a defibrillator on its grounds as we know these devices can literally save a life."
