Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, joined members of the Community Speedwatch team in Astwood to hear more about the issue of speeding in rural areas.
One of the main concerns villagers and Parish Councils regularly bring up with Ben is speeding so he was keen to get out himself and see a Community Speedwatch in action.
Ben also recently spoke to a group of residents in Lavendon who were equally frustrated with the level of speeding and has raised their concerns and wishes for speed reduction measures with the council.
In Parliament Ben co-sponsored a 10 minute rule bill to make it easier for local communities to put measures, such as speed cameras, in place to help tackle speeding.
